roughly one week to departure and it's all coming together nicely. Tomorrow is my last day at work, so sad to leave Yacht Sales West and the boatyard. I heard once that once you start working on Granville Island, it's for life. Somehow I got out, maybe the spell didn't work on me.
Tomorrow also is my going away party and it's gonna be great. 2 kegs of beers were donated and thanks to the Paetkau brothers the food will be plentiful. I'm a little worried since everybody will want to feed me beer...
I have received so many emails from friends and acquaintances, thank you all for your support and your kind words. I'll miss you too.
